UNIV-M modifiye sinüs dalga invertör serisi (modefiye kare dalga veya kademeli dalga) yaklaşık saf bir sinüs dalga formudur. Modifiye Sinüs dalga invertörler saf sinüs dalga invertörler daha az pahalı olurken fotovoltaik sisteminin verimliliği gereksinimlerini karşılamak üzere tasarlanmıştır. Bu invertörler; elektronik ve ev eşyaları da dahil olmak üzere, ancak TV, VCR ve uydu alıcısı, bilgisayar ve yazıcılar sınırlı olmayan geniş bir yelpaze yüklerinde faaliyet gösterme yeteğine sahiptirler.
